CHI成立于2022年,旨在满足社区日益增长的健康需求,特别是行为健康需求。我们的使命是在亚裔美国人,太平洋岛民和其他社区之间提高意识、扩散教育、加强宣传以及提供与行为健康相关的服务。在新冠疫情期间,霍华德县的许多华裔美国青年和家庭经历了种族主义,其中一些经历可能导致种族相关的创伤。在这一困难时期,我们必须提供适应文化和语言的社会情感学习,以支持华裔儿童、青年和家庭。作为霍华德县中文学校(HCCS)、霍华德郡中文文化中心和培英中文学校的合作伙伴,CHI致力于提高对行为健康问题的认识,并分发相关教育材料。
